Panda Fest 2026-Denver

Hello My Fellow Adventures, Over the weekend we went to the Panda Fest here in Denver, Colorado. With all the hype on social media I thought this 3 day festival was going to be huge. We showed up the start of the day which was at 10 am, when we arrived there was already a huge line (the line went fast). They did do a purse/bag check through a securtiy check point. After securtiy they would check your tickets via phone or print off and after they would scan you in, and hand you your free gift. But what we got instead was maybe a half a mile worth of stalls. Same kind of items just cycled throu in different stalls. Granted there were a few places that had something different, like the Ramen soup, and the claw machines were pretty cool. Food was expensive, starting off at 12$ plus. We had products that also started around the same price range, Prices for entry was about 20$ for general admission; 35$ for vip and extra on Saturday entry. The free gift for entry was a panda pin. And for my dear Adventures who like to inculde there fur babies they are excluded from entry, services animals were only able to enter. For those who maybe need some addition help (walkers, wheelchairs, cains, etc) I would say it may have been a little tough in the grass due to the rains we have been having here in Colorado so I can see maybe getting stuck in the mud, because I was have some issues in the grass due to some soft spots (not that you would get stuck but I could see mud getting on wheels or cains going down into the soft spots of grass/muddy area). Now after my little rant there I'm sure you guys are like okay friend but did you taste the food?!? And yes, I did. Granted not a whole lot due to the prices. Okay let's get into it, let's play a game called a Lady Nail or a Lady Fail. The items we got were the watermelon lemonade, beef ramen, soup dumplings, donuts, and some icecream. The list below of what was a nail and a fail. Lady Nail Lady Fail Watermelon Lemonade Soup Dumplings Donuts Beef Ramen Ice Cream Let's start on to the Lady Nails: I though the watermelon lemonade was refreshing (a little sticky, but still good), the dounts where very soft on the inside and had some yummy topping (again sticky) and the ice cream was pretty good as well. (theme of the day sticky so make sure you have some water or wipes to help get the sticky off). With the the Lady Fail: the soup dumplings was bone dry on the inside, it was basicly just the meat and veggies, No Liquids, and with the beef ramen, the soup part was so over salted (you would be so good on your salt intake for a week). With the Product vendors again majority of the vendors where selling the samething, some folks were cheaper than others, a lot of anime or crocheted items, entertainment wise granted I came on a Sunday was mostly music, Tai Chi and traditional daning. I'm sure Friday and Saturday enterainment was different then todays. Our total over view we would say this was a "Lady Fail", due to how expensive everything was, the same meals in the majority of the stalls, and same products. We hope there is some improvements next year.

Mrs. LLACAR'S PREK CLASS-The Gingerbread Man

Good Morning Class, We did everything we could to catch your Gingerbread Man here at Castlewood Canyon State Park, as we were trying to mail him back to your class he escaped back into the wild.
